As shown in the following pictures, there are four phases in decompression therapy:

Phase 1:

After few sessions of spinal decompression, 200 mg negative pressure is reached in the disc to bring the nucleus material back toward the center, there fore reducing the size of the disc.

once the disc jelly material goes in the center the fissure or the injured disc circular fibers will start the healing process.

is when fibrous tissue is about to heal and finally.

Phase 4:
